Learning how to write correct sentences

WALThat - correct sentences have special parts.

We looked at a picture  of  a  boy that was flying on a big book. We wrote a story about it. 

I liked that I got to look at the picture before writing my story. 
Next time I want to use some good WOW words in my story to make it sound better.

Sorting out Shapes

WALT:  We have been learning about different names of shapes. Today we went outside to see how many shapes we could find around our school. My favourite shape is an octagon because it has 8 sides and 8 angles.

Reflection:

I liked colouring my shapes in and gluing them into the correct    box. Next time I want to do some more shapes.
